I went to to long time listener Simon Brown recently when up in his area working on the video corporates and it was a golden opportunity to have a short walk about the town of St. Neots. This is the largest town in Cambridgeshire and historical important too.
Simon and I recorded a podcast for the Vobes Show too as we strolled around passing some interesting features, such as this old early Victorian lock up for drunks and rascals. Often you can’t help thinking they sort of had the right attitude back then on how to deal with the unwelcome members of the community, although in this day and age you would probably need a whole street of this types of cages for the louts and thieves we have roaming the streets.
It was great to meet Simon after all this time. He has been a very loyal and regular listener to the show sending in suggestions and comments via email over the years. A real solid rock of a listener and I wish I had more like that. Thanks Simon for a great evening and a fascinating walk, lovely meal and marvellous company!
